The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 general score. The Microsoft Surface 3 design is somewhat thicker and much heavier than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a greater hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has less RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores and an additional graphics processor.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a way better screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch in the display. Microsoft Surface 3 features a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a back facing camera with much more MP.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, giving up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
