Comparison review
Microsoft Surface 3 is a little bit better than Apple iPad 9.7-inch, having a 66.3 score against 65.4. Even being the best in this review, the Microsoft Surface 3 design is older, somewhat thicker and incredibly heavier than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch. Apple iPad 9.7-inch features a bit sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a just a little higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch counts with a bit superior CPU than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (although they are faster). Microsoft Surface 3 features much more storage capacity to store more apps and games than iPad 9.7-inch. Apple iPad 9.7-inch features a greater camera than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch counts with a way better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface 3.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Apple iPad 9.7-inch, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Apple iPad 9.7-inch. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Apple iPad 9.7-inch, resigning a couple specs and features.
