Comparison review
IPad Air has a general score of 72.8, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface 3's global score of 66.3. Even though the iPad Air is older than the Microsoft Surface 3, it's construction is thinner and way lighter. IPad Air has an incredibly better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and a bit higher pixel density.
The Apple iPad Air counts with a little better processing power than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and 2 less and slower processing cores, it also counts with a graphics processor and a 64-bits CPU. Apple iPad Air takes much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a worse 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a much worse 5 mega-pixels resolution.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than iPad Air, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity. The iPad Air features a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
