Apple iPad mini 3 is much better than the Microsoft Surface 3, having a general score of 77.5 against 66.3. Even when the Apple iPad mini 3 and the Microsoft Surface 3 were released with only a few months difference, the Apple iPad mini 3 is thinner and lighter. IPad mini 3 counts with a bit superior processor than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has an inferior number of slower cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit and a 64 bits processing unit.
Apple iPad mini 3 counts with a lot better looking display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher 1536 x 2048 resolution and a way better pixel amount per screen inch. Apple iPad mini 3 features as much memory to store more apps and games as Microsoft Surface 3, they have the same 128 GB internal storage.
The iPad mini 3 features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lower (Full HD) video quality and a much lower resolution camera. The iPad mini 3 has a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3.
