Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than the Asus VivoTab RT's 61 general score. The Microsoft Surface 3 design is notably newer than Asus VivoTab RT's, but it's just a little thicker and somewhat heavier. Microsoft Surface 3 has a little bit better display than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a lot higher 1920 x 1280 resolution, a bit larger display and more pixels per screen inch.
Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Asus VivoTab RT, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Asus VivoTab RT captures much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same video definition and a same resolution back facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface 3 features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Asus VivoTab RT has a battery life that's just as good as the battery lifetime in Microsoft Surface 3.
The Microsoft Surface 3 costs more than the Asus VivoTab RT, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
