Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is better than Asus VivoTab Smart's overall score of 58.7. The Microsoft Surface 3 design is a little bit heavier but thinner than Asus VivoTab Smart. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a slightly better looking display than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has more pixels per inch in the screen, a much better resolution of 1920 x 1280 pixels and a little bit bigger display.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a much greater memory capacity to store more apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus VivoTab Smart features a bit better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has lesser processing cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a much better camera than Microsoft Surface 3. They have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same resolution back facing camera and the same video frame rates. The Asus VivoTab Smart and Microsoft Surface 3 both have very similar batteries performance.
The Microsoft Surface 3 costs more than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
