Comparison review
The Google Pixel Slate has a global score of 79.3, which is much better than Microsoft Surface 3's 66.3 score. The Google Pixel Slate body is noticeably newer and somewhat thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit superior CPU than Google Pixel Slate, because although it has 12 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and faster).
Google Pixel Slate counts with a better looking display than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has a higher pixel density, a bit larger display and a lot higher 3000 x 2000px resolution. The Google Pixel Slate shoots much clearer videos and photos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have a 8 mega-pixels resolution back camera, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video quality.
The Google Pixel Slate counts with a very superior memory capacity for apps and games than Microsoft Surface 3, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. Google Pixel Slate's battery life is just as good as the Microsoft Surface 3 one.
Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Microsoft Surface 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Microsoft Surface 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Google Pixel Slate, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface 3, giving up a couple specs and features.
