Microsoft Surface 3 has a general score of 66.3, which is a bit better than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus's 63.1 general score. The Microsoft Surface 3 is an a lot older, somewhat thicker and extremely heavier tablet than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus. The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a little better performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a slightly better display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a little bit worse 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch of display. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
The Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus counts with a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface 3. Lenovo Tab 4 8 Plus shoots much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface 3. Both have a back camera with an 8 mega pixels resolution, the same (Full HD) video quality and the same video frame rates.
