Microsoft Surface 3 has a score of 66.3, which is a little bit better than LG G Pad F2 8.0's 62.7 overall score. The Microsoft Surface 3 construction is noticeably older, notably heavier and just a bit thicker than the LG G Pad F2 8.0. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit sharper screen than LG G Pad F2 8.0, because it has a much better 1920 x 1280 pixels resolution, a bit more pixels per inch of screen and a way larger display.
The LG G Pad F2 8.0 has a bigger storage for applications and games than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG G Pad F2 8.0 features a bit superior processing unit than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores.
The LG G Pad F2 8.0 counts with a much better battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit better camera than LG G Pad F2 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a camera in the back with much more MP.
Although Microsoft Surface 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the LG G Pad F2 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as LG G Pad F2 8.0. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy LG G Pad F2 8.0, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
