Microsoft Surface 3 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, getting a general score of 66.3 against 62.7. Microsoft Surface 3's construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but just a little bit heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. Microsoft Surface 3 features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores and 3 GB more RAM.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a greater pixel number per inch in the screen, a lot higher 1920 x 1280 resolution and a little larger screen. Microsoft Surface 3 shoots better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with a way better 8 mega pixels resolution.
Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a very superior battery performance than Microsoft Surface 3.
