Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface 3, getting a global score of 68.3 against 66.3. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a a lot newer and lighter tablet than Microsoft Surface 3, but it's just a little bit thicker. Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), and although they both have 4 cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface 3 has a little bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because it has a little bit greater count of pixels in each inch in the screen, a much larger display and a much higher resolution of 1920 x 1280. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a lower (Full HD) video resolution and a much worse 5 megapixels resolution back facing camera.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a bit more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
