Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 75.2, which is better than the Microsoft Surface 3's global score of 66.3. Despite of the fact that Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is older than Microsoft Surface 3, it's body is somewhat thinner and much lighter. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features just a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Quad-Core processing unit, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also counts with an additional GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a much better looking display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a way better screen density. Microsoft Surface 3 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity.
