The iPad Air 2 has a global score of 79.3, which is a lot better than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's score of 58.7. The iPad Air 2 is a noticeably lighter and a lot thinner device than the Microsoft Surface 9 Pro. IPad Air 2 has iOS 8.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface 9 Pro comes with Windows operating system.
IPad Air 2 counts with a much powerful processor than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Single-Core processor, the iPad Air 2 also counts with a 64 bits processor. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a way better looking screen than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a lot smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 2048 x 1536 and a just a bit worse number of pixels per inch in the display.
