Galaxy Note 8.0 has a general score of 69.2, which is better than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro's general score of 58.7. Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface 9 Pro has Windows OS. Galaxy Note 8.0's body is somewhat thinner and a lot lighter than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit better looking display than Microsoft Surface 9 Pro, although it has a much lower pixels number per display inch, a lot worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution and a much smaller display.
