Comparison review
The iPad 4 is a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Go, having a 70.8 score against 66.5. The iPad 4 has iOS 7.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 operating system. Although it's the best portable tablet in this review, iPad 4's design is somewhat thicker and way heavier than the Microsoft Surface Go.
The iPad 4 features a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher amount of pixels in each inch in the display and a higher 1536 x 2048 resolution. The iPad 4 features a processor that is just as good as Microsoft Surface Go's processor, because although the iPad 4 has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.
The iPad 4 has as much memory for apps and games as Microsoft Surface Go, both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage. The iPad 4 captures greater pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a worse (Full HD) video resolution and a lot lower resolution back facing camera.
The Microsoft Surface Go and the Apple iPad 4 have really similar battery durations.
Although Apple iPad 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface Go, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Go. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Go, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
