Microsoft Surface Go is just a bit better than iPad 9.7-inch, having a global score of 66.5 against 65.4. The Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS, and iPad 9.7-inch comes with iOS 13.x OS. The Microsoft Surface Go design is newer than iPad 9.7-inch's, but it is just a little heavier and just a little thicker.
The Apple iPad 9.7-inch features a bit faster CPU than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Dual-Core CPU. Apple iPad 9.7-inch has a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better 1536 x 2048 resolution and a little bit higher screen density.
Apple iPad 9.7-inch shoots much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Go. Both of them have the same video frame rates, the same video resolution and a same resolution back-facing camera. Microsoft Surface Go has a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than iPad 9.7-inch.
