The Apple iPad Air 2 has a global score of 79.3, which is better than the Microsoft Surface Go's 66.5 global score. Apple iPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS. The Apple iPad Air 2 is an way older tablet than Microsoft Surface Go, but it is lighter and a lot thinner anyway.
The iPad Air 2 features a much sharper display than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better screen pixel density and a better resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Apple iPad Air 2's memory to store more games and applications is very similar to Microsoft Surface Go's one, both have the same 128 GB internal storage capacity.
IPad Air 2 counts with a little bit better performance than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM and a lower number of cores, it also counts with a 64 bits processor. Apple iPad Air 2 counts with a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Go. IPad Air 2 takes greater videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Go. They have the same video frame rates, the same resolution back facing camera and the same (Full HD) video resolution.
Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, the Apple iPad Air 2 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a no doubt choice.
