The Apple iPad mini 2 has a general score of 77.2, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface Go's score of 66.5. Apple iPad mini 2 counts with iOS 8.x operating system, while Microsoft Surface Go comes with Windows 10 operating system. Although Apple iPad mini 2 is older than the Microsoft Surface Go, it's design is lighter and a little thinner.
The iPad mini 2 has an incredibly better screen than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a better pixel count in each screen inch and a higher resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels. The Apple iPad mini 2's storage capacity to install applications and games is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Go one, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The iPad mini 2 counts with a little bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 2 CPU cores, the iPad mini 2 also counts with an additional GPU and a 64-bit CPU. The iPad mini 2 counts with a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality and a camera in the back with a much lower 5 MP resolution.
IPad mini 2 has a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Go.
IPad mini 2 costs a lot more than Microsoft Surface Go, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
