Microsoft Surface Go has a global score of 66.5, which is much better than the Asus VivoTab Smart's general score of 58.7. The Microsoft Surface Go construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Asus VivoTab Smart. These devices come with Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Go has 10 version while Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8, giving you a couple additional features.

Asus VivoTab Smart and Microsoft Surface Go feature similar screens, because although the Asus VivoTab Smart has a way worse pixels count per inch of screen and a way worse resolution of 768 x 1366, it also counts with a bit bigger display. The Asus VivoTab Smart features a little bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have 2 cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with an extra graphics processor.

The Microsoft Surface Go counts with much more memory for apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity. Asus VivoTab Smart takes better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Go. They have the same video frame rates, a 8 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and the same 1920x1080 video quality.

The Asus VivoTab Smart has a battery duration that is just as good as the battery duration in Microsoft Surface Go.

Microsoft Surface Go costs more money than the Asus VivoTab Smart, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
