The Microsoft Surface Go has a score of 66.5, which is better than the LG G Pad 8.0's overall score of 58.6. The Microsoft Surface Go is a somewhat thinner but notably heavier tablet than the LG G Pad 8.0. The Microsoft Surface Go works with Windows 10 OS, and LG G Pad 8.0 counts with Android 5.0 OS.
Microsoft Surface Go features a bit superior CPU than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores and doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM. The LG G Pad 8.0 has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a way worse resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, a little bit worse screen pixels density and a really smaller screen.
Microsoft Surface Go features a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go shoots slightly better photographs and videos than LG G Pad 8.0, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Microsoft Surface Go also has a camera in the back with a much higher resolution.
LG G Pad 8.0 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Go.
Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G Pad 8.0. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Go, else you can save some dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, letting go some specifications.
