Galaxy Note 8.0 is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Go, having a 69.2 score against 66.5. The Galaxy Note 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Go counts with Windows 10 operating system. Despite of the fact that the Galaxy Note 8.0 is a lot older than Microsoft Surface Go, it's construction is just a little thinner and incredibly lighter.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a bit more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Go, although it has a way smaller screen, a much lower resolution of 800 x 1280 and a bit inferior pixel count in each inch in the screen. Microsoft Surface Go counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a bit more powerful CPU than Microsoft Surface Go, because although it has lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor and more 1.6 GHz cpu cores. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a way better battery performance than Microsoft Surface Go.
