The Microsoft Surface Go has a general score of 66.5, which is much better than Galaxy Tab's overall score of 58.6. The Microsoft Surface Go construction is way newer and much thinner than the Galaxy Tab's, but it's notably heavier. Microsoft Surface Go has Windows 10 OS, while Galaxy Tab counts with Android 2.3.3 OS.

Microsoft Surface Go counts with a little sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a way better 1800 x 1200 pixels resolution, a higher pixel density and a much larger screen. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a quite better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more cpu cores.

The Microsoft Surface Go has a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Microsoft Surface Go counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a back facing camera with a much better 8 mega pixels resolution and a way better 1920x1080 video resolution.

The Galaxy Tab features a much better battery life than Microsoft Surface Go.

Although Microsoft Surface Go is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Go, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Tab, resigning a couple features and specs.
