Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro has a general score of 63.2, which is a bit better than the Acer Iconia W510's general score of 57.5. Despite being the best in this review, we must tell that it is also a extremely heavier and thicker tablet. These tablets include Windows OS (operating system), but Microsoft Surface Pro has a newer 8 Pro version while Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version, offering lots of additional features and improved performance.
Microsoft Surface Pro features just a little better performance than Acer Iconia W510, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory and a better 650 MHz GPU. Microsoft Surface Pro has just a bit better looking display than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a better resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a little bigger display and a better pixel quantity in each inch of display.
Microsoft Surface Pro features a much greater memory for games and applications than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. The Acer Iconia W510 features a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Acer Iconia W510 has a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Acer Iconia W510, letting go some specs and features.
