Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro has a general score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's 62.3 general score. Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has Android 4.4 operating system. Even being the best in this comparison review, Microsoft Surface Pro is a noticeably thicker and much heavier device than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a much better graphics processing unit working at 700 megahertz. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a more vivid display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a really smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly higher 1920 x 1200 resolution and a greater pixel number in each inch in the screen.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much more megapixels camera. Microsoft Surface Pro features a much better memory to install games and applications than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 counts with a much longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
