Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7's 60.8 score. Even being the best we compare here, the Microsoft Surface Pro design is older, notably heavier and noticeably thicker than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 works with Android 4.2.2 operating system.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a lot better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with much more pixels per inch of screen and a quite better resolution of 1200 x 1920. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 features just a little better performance than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has less RAM memory and a worse graphics processor running at 450 megahertz, it also counts with a greater number of faster cores.

The Microsoft Surface Pro features a greater camera than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a much bigger memory for games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 and Microsoft Surface Pro have similar battery performance.
