Comparison review
The Apple iPad 4 has a global score of 70.8, which is much better than the Microsoft Surface Pro's 63.2 general score. Apple iPad 4 is a a lot thinner and much lighter device than the Microsoft Surface Pro. The Apple iPad 4 comes with iOS 7.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system.
IPad 4 has a much better screen than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a better resolution of 1536 x 2048 pixels and more pixels per inch in the display. The iPad 4 and Microsoft Surface Pro both have really similar storage for games and applications, and although the iPad 4 has no external memory card slot, they both have equal internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little bit better processing power than iPad 4, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a higher amount of RAM and a much better graphics processing unit working at 650 megahertz. The iPad 4 takes much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a way higher 1920x1080 video quality and a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
The iPad 4 has a battery duration that's very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro one.
The iPad 4 costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface Pro, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
