The Microsoft Surface Pro is just a bit better than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation, having a 63.2 score against 62.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro design is extremely thicker and extremely heavier than Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation. The Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x operating system.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a greater performance than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a much better graphics processor and a larger amount of RAM. The Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a lot worse resolution of 1136 x 640 pixels and a way smaller display, it also counts with a way higher display pixel density.

Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation features a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro. IPod Touch 5th Generation shoots much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a back facing camera with lot more MP and a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than iPod Touch 5th Generation, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the iPod Touch 5th Generation. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the iPod Touch 5th Generation, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
