Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro's overall score of 63.2. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro operating system. Galaxy Note 8.0's construction is noticeably thinner and a lot lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro, even though both of them were released only a few months apart.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little faster processor than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with 2 more processing cores (but slower) and a much better graphics processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a lot larger screen, a way better 1080 x 1920px resolution and a quite greater pixel density.

Galaxy Note 8.0 captures much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has better video frame rate and a camera in the back with much more MP. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.
