Comparison review

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is slightly better than Microsoft Surface Pro, with a 68.4 score against 63.2. Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro counts with Windows 8 Pro OS. Galaxy Note 8.0's design is way thinner and extremely lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro, even though both were only released 8 months apart.

The Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a bit more pixels per inch in the display, a really bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920. Microsoft Surface Pro counts with much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a faster graphics processing unit working at 1.06 GHz and a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels and faster 30 fps video frame rates.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features a very superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.
