Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface Pro has an overall score of 63.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's overall score of 61.7. Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE comes with Android 4.1 operating system. Despite being the best in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro's construction is heavier and way thicker than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE.

Microsoft Surface Pro has a bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a lot better resolution of 1080 x 1920px, a much bigger screen and a just a little more pixels per inch of display. Microsoft Surface Pro features much more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory.

The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a little better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a better GPU running at 650 MHz and 3 GB more RAM memory. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE also has faster video frame rate and a way higher resolution camera in the back.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
