Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an overall score of 66.2, which is a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro's overall score of 63.2. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro works with Windows 8 Pro OS. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a newer device, and it is also notably thinner and much lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro.
Microsoft Surface Pro features just a little better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with a better 650 megahertz GPU and a higher amount of RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has just a bit better display than Microsoft Surface Pro, although it has a lot smaller display, a lot lower resolution of 1280 x 800px and a little bit lower pixels number in each inch of screen.
Microsoft Surface Pro has a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 takes way better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 also has a back camera with a way better 3 megapixels resolution and better 30 fps video frame rates.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a superior battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.
Even being the best tablet in our current comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
