Comparison review

Microsoft Surface Pro is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, with a 63.2 score against 58.8. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro is newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, it's much heavier and notably thicker. Microsoft Surface Pro has Windows 8 Pro operating system, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and Microsoft Surface Pro feature very similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a bit smaller display, a just a bit lower number of pixels per inch of screen and a way worse 800 x 1280px resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro counts with a superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has an extra GPU.

Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE shoots much clearer photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE also has a back facing camera with way more MP. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a very superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 128 GB internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE counts with a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro.
