Comparison review
Apple iPad 3 is a little bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, with a general score of 71.1 against 65.1. Despite of the fact that Apple iPad 3 is older than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, it's body is noticeably thinner and lighter. Apple iPad 3 works with iOS 6.1 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a little better performance than iPad 3, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also has 7 GB more RAM. The iPad 3 has a brighter display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels quantity per inch in the display and a better 1536 x 2048px resolution.
IPad 3 captures a lot better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much higher video resolution. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Apple iPad 3, because it has more internal memory capacity. IPad 3 features a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
The iPad 3 costs a bit more money than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but you can get a better tablet for that extra dollars.
