Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the Asus VivoTab, getting a score of 65.1 against 57.5. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a newer device than the Asus VivoTab, although it's thicker and incredibly heavier. Both tablets in this comparison work with Windows OS (operating system), but the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab has Windows 8 version.
Asus VivoTab has a bit better processing power than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has 6 GB lesser RAM, and they both have 2 cpu cores, the Asus VivoTab also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a better display than Asus VivoTab, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a much higher display pixels density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much better memory for apps and games than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. The Asus VivoTab's battery performance is just as good as Microsoft Surface Pro 2's battery lifetime.
The Asus VivoTab counts with a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a lot higher 1920x1080 video quality.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 costs a little more money than Asus VivoTab, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
