Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than Asus VivoTab Smart, having a score of 65.1 against 58.7. Although it's the best tablet device in our current comparison, Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a notably thicker and much heavier tablet device than the Asus VivoTab Smart. These tablets have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab Smart has Windows 8 version.
Asus VivoTab Smart features just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab Smart also counts with a graphics processing unit. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab Smart, because it has a little bit bigger display, a higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Asus VivoTab Smart has a very superior camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Asus VivoTab Smart, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 and the Asus VivoTab Smart have quite similar battery performance.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is not only the best tablets of the ones we are comparing, but it's also cheaper than the other tablet.
