Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is just a bit better than Dell Venue 8 Pro, getting a 65.1 score against 59.6. Despite being the best in this review, Microsoft Surface Pro 2's design is way thicker and much heavier than the Dell Venue 8 Pro. Both of these tablets use the same Windows 8.1 Pro OS, so you shouldn't perceive any difference regarding OS features.
Dell Venue 8 Pro features a bit sharper display than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a just a little inferior pixel count per display inch, a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px and a much smaller screen. The Dell Venue 8 Pro features a bit faster processing unit than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a larger number of cores.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Dell Venue 8 Pro, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 448 GB more internal memory capacity. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. The Dell Venue 8 Pro has a way better battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is not only the best tablets between the ones we are comparing here, but it's also very cheap compared to the other tablets, making it an obvious call.
