Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a bit better than the Google Nexus 7, having a overall score of 65.1 against 59.3. Microsoft Surface Pro 2's construction is newer than Google Nexus 7's, although it is much heavier and extremely thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, while Google Nexus 7 has Android 5.1 operating system.
The Google Nexus 7 and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 both feature very similar processors, because although the Google Nexus 7 has lesser RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processor and 2 more cpu cores (but slower). The Google Nexus 7 features a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because although it has a lot smaller display and a way worse resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a just a little greater pixel density.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a superior storage to install games and applications than Google Nexus 7, because it has 512 GB internal memory. Google Nexus 7 counts with a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a lot better camera than Google Nexus 7.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Nexus 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Nexus 7. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7, giving up some features and specifications.
