The Google Pixel Slate is way better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, having a 79.3 score against 65.1. Google Pixel Slate works with Chrome OS operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. The Google Pixel Slate is a a lot newer tablet, and it's also lighter and notably thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

The Google Pixel Slate counts with a processing unit that's very similar to Microsoft Surface Pro 2's processor, and although the Google Pixel Slate has 8 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Dual-Core processor. Google Pixel Slate has a little more vivid screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has more pixels per inch of screen, a bigger screen and a much higher resolution of 3000 x 2000px.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel Slate, because it has 512 GB internal memory. The Google Pixel Slate's battery lifetime is very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 one. The Google Pixel Slate takes way better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.

Although Google Pixel Slate is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Microsoft Surface Pro 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Pixel Slate, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 2, giving up some specifications.
