Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a score of 65.1, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's score of 61.7. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE comes with Android 4.1 operating system. Microsoft Surface Pro 2's body is newer than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE's, but it is thicker and noticeably heavier.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit better display than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because it has a just a little more pixels per display inch, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a lot bigger screen. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a superior memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features just a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have 2 processing cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 also counts with 7 GB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE takes much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Both have the same video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE has a really longer battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) LTE, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
