Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a global score of 66.2, which is just a bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2's 65.1 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Even though the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is incredibly lighter and notably thinner.

The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a bit better looking screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, although it has a little bit lower screen density, a really smaller screen and a lot worse 1280 x 800 resolution.
