Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, having a global score of 65.1 against 58.8. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has Android 4.0 OS. Microsoft Surface Pro 2's body is much newer than the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE's, although it's a lot thicker and incredibly heavier.
Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE. They have a Dual-Core CPU. Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE and Microsoft Surface Pro 2 both feature really similar screens, although the Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a way worse 800 x 1280 pixels resolution, a bit inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a quite smaller screen.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. They have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a superior storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, because it has 512 GB internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE has a superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 2.
