Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab S8 is much better than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, getting a 76.7 score against 65.1. Galaxy Tab S8 has Android 13 operating system, while Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system. Galaxy Tab S8's construction is way newer, thinner and extremely lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 2.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a much lower 1080 x 1920px resolution, a little lower display density and a quite smaller display. Microsoft Surface Pro 2 counts with more storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab S8, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a much better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, although it has an inferior number of cores , they both have 8 GB of RAM memory. Galaxy Tab S8 counts with a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 2. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 shoots much better photographs and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, because it has a much better 3840x2160 video quality.

The Galaxy Tab S8 costs a lot more money than Microsoft Surface Pro 2, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
