The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a score of 82.4, which is just a bit better than iPad Pro's global score of 79.5. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with Windows 10 Pro OS, while iPad Pro has iOS 9.x OS. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is newer than iPad Pro, it is just a little bit heavier and somewhat thicker.

The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a bit better CPU than Apple iPad Pro, because it has a greater amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster). The Apple iPad Pro features a brighter screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a little bit worse screen pixels density, it also counts with a little bit higher resolution of 2732 x 2048 and a bit larger display.

The iPad Pro captures much better videos and photos than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017). Both have a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video quality. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad Pro, because it has 1000 GB internal memory capacity.

The iPad Pro has a way better battery life than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).

Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it costs a lot more than iPad Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as iPad Pro. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the iPad Pro, resigning some features and specifications.
