Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab, with a global score of 82.4 against 57.5. Both of these devices come with Windows OS (Operating System), but Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has an older 10 Pro version while Asus VivoTab has Windows 8. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a noticeably newer and a little thinner tablet than Asus VivoTab, but it is also somewhat heavier.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a sharper display than Asus VivoTab, because it has a lot higher display density, a bit larger display and a much better resolution of 2736 x 1824px. Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with a lot bigger storage to install games and applications than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 936 GB more internal memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) features a bit faster processing unit than Asus VivoTab, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) also counts with 14 GB more RAM. Asus VivoTab's battery duration is very similar to the battery lifetime in Microsoft Surface Pro (2017).
Asus VivoTab's camera is just as good as the camera in Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), both of them have a back facing camera with an 8 mega-pixels resolution, the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus VivoTab. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Asus VivoTab, and give up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
