These tablets have Windows OS (Operating System), but the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) has the older 10 Pro version while Microsoft Surface Pro 8 has Windows 11. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) body is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Microsoft Surface Pro 8.
