Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, with a 73.9 score against 68.5. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has Android 4.4.2 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has Windows 8.1 Pro OS. Even when the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is lighter and way thinner.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a much sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels quantity per display inch and a little bit higher resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has less RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores and an extra graphics processing unit.

Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 takes way better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 also has a camera in the back with way more mega pixels. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 240 GB more internal memory capacity.

Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a very superior battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Even being the best tablet in our comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is also a bargain compared to the other tablets, making it an obvious call.
