Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is way better than the Acer Iconia W510, with a 72.2 score against 57.5. These devices have Windows operating system, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more recent 8.1 Pro version and Acer Iconia W510 has Windows 8 version, so it gives a couple additional features and increased performance. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer device than Acer Iconia W510, although it is noticeably heavier and a little thicker.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features a much better display than Acer Iconia W510, because it has a lot better resolution of 1440 x 2160, a higher pixel amount in each inch in the screen and a larger screen. The Acer Iconia W510 has a bit better CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Dual-Core processing unit, the Acer Iconia W510 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
Acer Iconia W510 features a bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video definition, the Acer Iconia W510 also has a camera with way more mega-pixels. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Acer Iconia W510, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory.
The Acer Iconia W510 features a really longer battery duration than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Acer Iconia W510, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Acer Iconia W510. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Acer Iconia W510, letting go some specs and features.
