The iPad mini 3 has a global score of 77.5, which is just a bit better than Microsoft Surface Pro 3's 72.2 score. The iPad mini 3 construction is much lighter and somewhat thinner than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, although they were only released with a few months difference. IPad mini 3 works with iOS 8.x operating system, and Microsoft Surface Pro 3 works with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Apple iPad mini 3, because it has more internal memory. IPad mini 3 features a really longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. IPad mini 3 has a lot better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3. They have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and the same resolution back facing camera.
