Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a score of 72.2, which is a lot better than the Asus VivoTab's 57.5 global score. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is newer than the Asus VivoTab, it is somewhat heavier and a bit thicker. Both of these devices have Windows operating system, but Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has the newer 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab has Windows 8.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a brighter screen than Asus VivoTab, because it has a way better 1440 x 2160 resolution, a little bigger display and a much greater screen pixels density. Asus VivoTab counts with a bit superior CPU than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, because although it has lesser RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Asus VivoTab also counts with an additional GPU.
The Asus VivoTab features a little bit better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Asus VivoTab also has a much more MP back camera. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 features much more storage for applications and games than Asus VivoTab, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
The Asus VivoTab has a battery duration that is just as good as the battery duration in Microsoft Surface Pro 3.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 costs a lot more money than the Asus VivoTab, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra dollars.
