Comparison review
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a general score of 72.2, which is better than the Asus VivoTab RT's global score of 61. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer tablet than the Asus VivoTab RT, but it is a little bit thicker and notably heavier. Both devices in this review use Windows OS, but the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has 8.1 Pro version and Asus VivoTab RT has Windows RT version.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a more vivid screen than Asus VivoTab RT, because it has a better pixel amount per inch in the screen, a bigger display and a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2160px. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has just a little better processing power than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has a lower number of cores , it also counts with more RAM memory.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Asus VivoTab RT, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and Asus VivoTab RT have quite similar battery performance. Asus VivoTab RT features a much better camera than Microsoft Surface Pro 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (Full HD) video quality, the Asus VivoTab RT also has a much more MP back-facing camera.
Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a lot more expensive than the Asus VivoTab RT, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
